I love how he began his presentation gracefully and lovingly, with good humor, then delivered this powerful, clear defense. Excellent job.

I LOVE the humor and levity peppered throughout this teaching.

Just want to say I'm really happy to see the re-emergence of historic pre-mill. Hopefully more people will discover historic pre-mill and we can stop being conflated with Dispensationalists in lectures and debates. XD

Yes, preach the gospel of our king and be found preaching it when He returns. Good presentation brother thank you.

I remain in the amil camp, but now I know why you believe what you believe. Excellent presentation!

I'm saved and living my life like my great great grandchildren will be preaching the gospel. If I'm wrong then I'm cool with that too. There have been pre-mil folks for almost 2000 years.

How beautiful and rare is just passionate word-view preaching. The brother makes a kind of intense self cross-examination. I struggled to follow.

I really enjoyed this video. Perhaps one day you could cover the different flavors of historic pre-mil? For instance Bryan Chapel while being historic Premil still believes in a distinct future of Israel and there are many different views from these famous historic pre-mil theologians throughout the centuries. If I had to guess there would be those who disagreed over the “New Creation” belief that you allude to as well??? Will be checking out more content from this channel.

The re-capitulation is the return of Jesus.

Ch 19 ends a narrative building off ch 17, 18, introducing mystery Babylon and her judgement thru 19. So yes, ch 20 is a new narrative.

Ok. Dr. Schultz has persuaded me. Thanks for posting.

Craig Blomberg and Sunk Wook Chung made me ununderstand that premillennialism could co-exist with some partial preterist and idealist takes on Revelation. But Dr Shultz drove the final nail in the coffin with his exegesis of Rev 19-20.

Well, I'm trying my best to understand eschatology by gathering from each view and this is good information. Unfortunately it's presented by an emotionally charged, prideful man who, by stating too many imperatives for the most difficult book in the Bible, seems to think he's got it all figured out. RED FLAG! And to slam the other brothers who are also just trying to know the heart of their Father to a greater degree(postmill.s don't even know what a Bible looks like?)shameful. I'm sure he walked away feeling better about himself though, and that's obviously the point of his presentation. Humble yourself and you will grow faster brother. I'm leaning toward the optimism and humility of the post view even more now, thank you.

Other than not being a Calvinist, I was in full agreement with this, right up until he talked about it being "silly" that there would be lost people in the Millennium. What he has either failed to consider, or has dismissed too readily, is that there will be little ones on the earth when Christ returns, children, who have no knowledge of good or evil, they shall go in there. As Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

They will grow up in the Kingdom, and the Saints of God will rule over them, and they will instructed in the word of the Lord, along with all those who were taken before their time, "for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem." And "no more shall there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not fill out his days, for the young man shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner a hundred years old shall be accursed."

It is not DIRECTLY stated anywhere else. The millennium IS in multiple places within scripture. See Zechariah 14.

Brilliant and well-researched... I find Mike used humor properly as compared to R.C. Sproul, who used humor to obfuscate answering questions that undermined his Augistinan pseudo-theology... Keep up the good work, kid.
