Idk why people keep saying viltrumites have advanced healing like that. Yes they do have a healing factor but it’s of no use during combat. Only after when they have time to recover. The smart adoms within their bodies increase durability and strength. They also have incredible stamina which allow them to keep fighting for a long time.

Battle beast had to bring himself down in order to lose. What a champion. Battle beast the one dude who wouldn’t lose. But because he loves the war so much. He wanted to lessen himself in order to make it order.

Yep, had Battle Beast not severely wounded himself I think he would have won, admittedly against a also wounded Thagg. What would have been the outcome had they simply been allowed to fight each other without outside interference? Anyway, epic fight.

My only problem with this fight is the fact that a good portion of it happened off panel.
It was the most anticipated match up in Invincible and while it didnt disappoint, that part stung a bit.

Battle beast lost because he wounded himself. Thrag ended up ripping out Battle Beast intestines that had him on the verge of death. Really screwed himself on that one especially since Thrag can regenerate rather quickly. Thrag wearing Battle Beast pelt was pimp as fuck. Thrag was like put some respect on his name I almost died fighting this Beast.

This is how you do an Epic 1-vs-1 Battle! This is how you create two characters that are so OP within the world/universe you (the writer) have developed, that the reader can cklearly recognize whomis THE strongest!
The fact that these two dont even meet until very late in the Series helps to create a tension and suspense which gives us, the readers, a real feeling of unease. We genuinely do not know who will win... and that's one of the best parts of this Battle.
In addition, we have already been given plenty of examples throughout this Comic that show us that the "Good Guys/Heroes" don't always win.

I really, really hope that we get to see this in animation form!
