Who is the strongest viltrumite in the Invincible Universe?
Although many people would say it is Grand Regent Thragg, the leader of the Viltrumites who overpowers many of the strongest characters, fighting and winning against Battle Beast as well as both Omni-Man and Invincible.
By the end of the series, the strongest is actually Invincible.
In his younger days, he is able to defeat Conquest, the oldest and most sadistic Viltrumite, twice and was shown to be stronger than his father near the end of the series.
He also eventually defeats Thragg in the final Viltrumite war and after the timeskip, Mark is by far and away the strongest Viltrumite in the universe.

INVINCIBLE is an adult animated superhero series that revolves around 17-year-old Mark Grayson, who’s just like every other guy his age — except his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man. But as Mark develops powers of his own, he discovers his father’s legacy may not be as heroic as it seems.
After an earth-shattering betrayal, Mark fights to rebuild his life. In the face of apocalyptic threats, he discovers new allies and wrestles with his greatest fear - that he might become his father.
In this special prequel episode, Samantha Eve Wilkins, aka Atom Eve, grows up out of place in her own family. When someone from her past re-enters her life, she discovers her tragic backstory and the origin and true potential of her powers.

Moral of the story: the stronger you get, the better your drip

During his fight with Conquest, the old man says something to the effect of "Anger doesn't make us stronger, it doesn't work that way", but Mark is half human. He has something no other Viltrumite has.
Adrenaline.
He is the only Viltrumite who _does_ get stronger when he's pissed or stressed.

500 yr old Mark is probably many times stronger than Thragg was at 1000

Mark got 2 notable power ups. 1st is when he survived the GM virus made to kill only his kind. 2nd Eve restore his body when Thragg ripped him apart, she remade him molecularly better

He’s basically genetically and molecularly perfect, he’s the perfect viltrumite hybrid that can come back stronger in a more effective way than viltrumites and be physically influenced by his emotions in a positive way, is immune to a virus that almost wiped out viltrumites, was remade molecularly better by Eve and on top of this has support from other people so even if he were to start losing a fight he could be shielded, revived, etc

Wait till the people who've been saying "He's called Invincible but gets beaten repeatedly" sees the end of the animated series in 2060

If Battle Beast didn't injure himself to be fair with Thragg

Mark at the end of invincible, could very much kill thrag without luring him to the sun, but it would be a very good fight thrag's no pushover.

After thragg won the fight between him and battle beast ...thragg took the hide/skin off battle beast and wore the hide around his body to signify respect for battle beast because he was a strong opponent and put up a great battle with thragg

I mean by last man standing standards yes Mark is the strongest. But you must admit a crucial detail that in Mark’s fight WITH Thragg, robot sent in an armor to shield him from the suns heat if but for a few seconds, allowing the upper hand against Thragg. Soon after marks body was retrieved by Allen and he lived to tell the tale. Ultimately as Mark commented on, the reason he wins the war is because he had friends and family whereas Thragg was alone. I’d argue otherwise without outside help Mark may have died, though surely taking Thragg with him. And if there’s doubt to this, every fight with Thragg before hand nearly killed mark to actually doing so, when Thragg showed up to kill Mark and his daughter and Eve.

Mark constantly had to struggle his entire life and that made him strong. Viltrumites lack of competition for thousands of years and lack of emotion/ adrenaline made them lose their passion and inner strength. They only fought for duty and bloodlust. That’s why they changed when they came to earth and learned how to actually live like mortals.

bro was killing Viltrumites with thousands of years of battle experience while being a fraction of their age. Can't even begin to imagine how strong the was at 500 years.

The near “crisping” of Mark was probably his most mortal wounding, and like other Viltrumites, injuries make him stronger (Sort of like in human physiology, where a broken bone will heal, making the healed “break” stronger than the unbroken bone around it). The Many serious injuries (including the first beating from his father) are one of the reasons he is so strong (Like Conquest). He also was born with empathy. Something the Viltrumites had worked hard to breed out of themselves, seeing it as weakness, and not the wisdom and strength that it actually is.

As we know, viltrumites get stronger with the following methods
• age
• getting the absolute shit kicked out of them

Mark Grayson is significantly different to his Viltrum empire opponents. The Viltrum empire have ruled with an iron fist for thousands of years, there is next to zero threat to their lives. This means, the only way they could possibly get stronger is with age. Mark gets a few significant “power ups”.

• Getting the shit kicked out of him by battle beast
• Getting the shit kicked out of him by his dad
• Getting the shit kicked out of him by the three viltumites on Thraxa
• Getting the shit kicked out of him by multiple versions from himself, many of who now rule the viltumite empire in their respective universes so can be assumed to be very strong
• Getting the shit kicked out of him by Conquest, but overcoming him.
• Getting the shit kicked out of him by Annissa (twice)
• Getting the shit kicked out of him by conquest again, but overcoming him again.
• Getting the ABSOLUTE SHIT kicked out of him by Thragg, and then revived by Eve at a stronger molecular level.
• Getting the shit kicked out of him by Thragg, on the surface of the sun, and winning.

And finally, Marks most useful human part. Adrenaline. Many people argue that Mark doesn’t have adrenaline, as he is a Viltrumite, who do not produce adrenaline because nothing other than themselves (and Rognar, which they attempt to eradicate) are capable of harming them. We also have not seen any viltrumite “fight better” after getting angry. This can be further supported by conquests words to mark about how anger works for viltrumites. Needless to say we see on MANY MANY occasions that Mark’s rage and adrenaline fuels him. Nolan was killed by Thragg, however, Mark kills Thragg (fuelled by rage). Mark was almost able to beat Nolan in an arm wrestle before his demise, but after fighting Thragg was certainly stronger than both. After the 500 years we also see that Mark has defeated the coalition and Allen. It is difficult to determine just how strong Mark is after the 500 years, we’re unsure how Eve’s influence has helped over the years etc. We do see that he finds many fights beneath him however. He is not threatened by anyone or anything in the known universe, as anything that could have killed him, he killed first, or got stronger than that threat.

Technically his daughter if she has Eve's power

The most beautiful part is, by the end of the series, that isn't what is carrying him forward. It is who Mark is that is far more powerful than anything he could punch.

"You are just as strong as your champion?"
"We *all* are."
