Are you a new mommy struggling to put your baby on a tummy 🤯 ? Your baby hates tummy time 🙅‍♀️🤷‍♂️ In this video, you will learn tips for five basic exercises to improve your baby's time on a belly. Repeat these exercises each day and in 2 weeks your baby will enjoy tummy time.

Tummy time is critical for the development of newborns. A child's brain development depends on the child's access to free movement.

Turning to the tummy, staying on the side, balancing - all these experiences are critical for developing motor skills, learning abilities, and much more in the future.
But often, babies are not immediately happy to stay on the tummy. They might have muscle and body restrictions after birth, which need to be addressed.

Essentials to follow ❣️

✅ Put the baby on the hard surface
❌ Do not put directly baby on the tummy
✅ Turn the baby on the tummy through the hip movement
✅ Get the baby into correct position

I saw this video and tried this with my son and he started rolling over from back to front after a week or two, thanks for the video!

My son slept on his side after almost dying at 2 months from sleeping on his back and spitting up. He slept much better on his side.

My kid's daughter said it's better for him to sleep on his back but he sleeps so much better on his stomach or his side and my breast milk is not coming in all the way I guess because I'm 40 years old. I'm older this time with this pregnancy but when my 28-year-old and my 20-year-old it was just fine. But anyway I have to do the formula milk and he gets so gassy and irritable. So now I know how to get the gas and help him. Thank you for sharing

Tummy time is to prevent your child from having FLAT heads. In the Philippines , men have flat heads because their mothers do not practice tummy time . For girls or women, their long hair make their flat heads camouflaged.

How long should we keep baby on each side? How often should we do it a day? Baby is 3 months and 13 days. Thank you!

I just have to wonder how babies EVER learned to roll around and sleep on their sides, without us to do these exercises with them.

I don’t know about an infant; but sleeping on the side as an adult is not good for your back, pelvic area and spine.

EDIT:
I want to correct myself, after speaking with my pediatrician, they did confirm there’s great benefits for an infant to sleep on their sides during the developmental stage. Training to sleep on the side at early stage doesn’t mean they will sleep the rest of their lives on their sides. It’s important to have side sleep early age time to time.

As an adult, it’s always recommended to be on your back rather than side. If you sleep on your side most of your adult life there will be curvatures and imbalances to the spine. A good mattress will help, but never as good as sleeping on back.

I've heard it's good to put it on its side and then strap it down so it sleeps like that, and then after an hour, turn it on the other side then strap it down again..
