Second season I have near zero fungal deseases including black stop and mildew. How is it possible? Bacillus subtilis, agricultural strains. I will not advertise particular supplier, because you have to find your own. This is the best way to find effective strains, which fight local pathogens.

How about treatment with an anti-fungal solution?

A very pleasant presentation from Tracey Bull. No doubt these tips will go some way towards preventing Rose black spot, but a suitable fungicide applied a number of times during the growing season will give a far better control. The RHS now seems very reluctant to give advice on the use of garden chemicals. Surely gardeners should be allowed to make their own decisions on whether to use a chemical control or to rely on organic solutions which very often give disappointing results.
