I already do this. Let the brake go slightly and then just press it very lightly and my stops are always amazingly smooth

I was taught before covid hit that rolling your big toe when you begin breaking begins a very smooth ease of the breaks. I still use it.

My instructors car has some really strong brakes that seem to have very little travel between partially braking and heavy braking. It's kind of difficult to get used to. I especially noticed how difficult they were when I drove my own car where the brake pedal has more travel and can easily and smoothly stop more consistently...

Am really learning from your videos, my instructor is always on his phone, he never talks to me, only says break, remove ur leg from the clutch. And inside the round about he makes ask me to change gear to the 2nd.. I just want to change him already..
