These people dogging her are missing her point. She's saying make a better choice every day until you get to the ideal choice. If you're a 10 soda a day person, it's not realistic to say you'll just change to water overnight. Diet soda is better than the full sugar and I see no problem with using it as a tool to wean yourself off soda. Reduced calorie "junk food" is still a better choice than full calorie and I also see no problem with using it as a tool. Think of it like nicotine patches to stop smoking.

As a life long dieter and eating disorder survivor, these are some of the most common sense tips I've heard. You aren't cutting out entire food groups, you are focusing on moderation and portion control, and you're moving your body. This is the best way to take off those pounds without damaging your body or your mind in the process. You look amazing! Well done!

1. Measure out your snacks...do not eat from bag
2. Drink diet soda
3. Move - every day - walk and increase daily
4. Drink water before you start your day
5. Include treats in your lifestyle
6. Eat 5 meals a day every 2-4 hours
7. Switch to lower calorie versions of food
8. Measure your food. Meal prep.

Small changes are so smart. I also now stay hydrated by drinking 3 quarts of water a day. No soda, no alcohol. I started intermittent fasting and I swapped out chips for fresh veggies and low carb fruits for a healthy snack. I love them. I've lost 40 pounds with ease and I'm half way to my goal. The next small step....get out and walk. You've inspired me to get my sneakers on and go for it. Thank you for all of your enthusiasm!

Ok so the random movements at the end IS EVERYTHING I was sold but now I really am. Stagnant and doing that... you just stretched, moved your body in ways you havent before, burned a few extra calories AND I KNOW YOU SMILED DOING IT.
I LOVE HER ENERGY

Nicole I really want to thank you for saying that even starying with 5 minutes of exercise is better than nothing. I have really bad plantar fasciitis as well from my extra weight, and I know that going out for like a 30 min walk right now would just put me in so muhc pain the next day that it would be debilitating and discouraging. But I can do 5 minutes! Heck I could probably do 10! So Im going to do that! Thank you for all your encouragement!

1. Daily walk / move a lot more
2. Eat healthy and if you have an eating disorder then pig out on veggies as your body adjusts it's way through the hunger periods
3. Learn how to put yourself in a caloric deficit (I do intermittent fasting 4 days a week)
4. show up every day and keep at it and I promise you'll lose weight.

If you are obese like me then this will work for you once you gain control over your food.
I'm losing 5lbs a week 20lbs per month.

I used to weigh 256 lbs but lost over 100 lbs without trying. Turns out I was sick but kept the weight off since 2017. Now I've gained 10 lbs so it's time to start trying to lose it before I'm 200 lbs again. Thank you.

I am soooo thankful that I found your videos!! It is game changing!! I am seeing results without being miserable. Y’all eat like real people. Not a bunch of weird stuff. You shop at stores I can afford to shop at. Your just so real and refreshing. Thank you for sharing your journey. I am actually excited about losing weight now. I really appreciate this video because it’s realistic and isn’t suggesting that we totally give up sugar and carbs, which has been too daunting for me. You’re affirming that it’s ok to do what works for ourselves-and that we can still get results! The only thing I’d say is watch how much artificial and overly processed foods you eat. Thank you so much for this!

One thing that has helped me when eating out, get a to go box when you get your meal and put half in the box to take home. That way you can control how much you eat.
