Thiers more to it then what you said, yes you boil the water. You forgot to mentioned that after you let it boil, you have to let it sit for about 15 mins. When you let it metals and other things will sink to the bottom, and pour the clean water off of the top.

So embarrassing story and why I appreciate the video. I've never taken care of kids before so when I was preparing my nieces favorite meal I was lost because she wanted the hot dog boiled. I've always stuck it in the microwave to get it heated but not that day. So I thought, hey it's not that complicated just pour water in the pot and let it boil. Well, I was standing there for like an hour and the thing wouldn't boil it was just warm. This is why I order out.

Dude, , how long I need to wait after "the bubble coming from the bottom to the top" for water purification before putting down heat on the stove.
I though it needs a couple of minutes to purify it. (5mins/7mins/15mins)
