Many old school bodybuilders of the 60s and 70s built the upper chest using lots of incline barbell pressing. In this video I cover how I personally perform this movement for the upper chest and how to build muscle to the pecs and delts.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the best old school body building content on the web! 👍🏻 No BS, No unnecessary lengthy vids, no trying to sell supplements. Just interesting and useful info that actually works.

Peter, any chance of a short video on developing the Serratus anterior muscle. I’m doing pull overs and rope pull downs at the end of every chest work out. I’ve tried going both heavy low rep and light high rep but can’t find a sweet spot to get them to grow. A well developed, well shaped Serratus muscle is an old school staple, right back to Steve Reeves, who along with Frank Zane had some of the greatest looking Serratus muscles. Thanks 💪🏻

I recommend experimenting with slight differences in angles, and doing both dumbbell and barbell. Find what works for you. Also, incline guillotine works pretty good for me. I can feel an extreme stretch in the uppermost part of my pec that I cant get from any other exercise.

This was a game changer, I used to over arch on incline presses so the tip of bringing the bar down to the clavicle was pure gold!

I agree with this video, cuz over the past few years stopped focusing on flat bench so much and started killin incline. Im up to 315 for 5 or 275 for 10+. It really grows your upper chest and front delts.

For the past 8 months I’ve been using the 60 degree angle for incline BB presses since discovering Franco’s recommendation and man…does it ever build the upper chest area well! I’ll try the closer grip. Thanks again, Peter. Another fabulous video with tons of valuable information. I just finished your 5-day mass gain program with great results! Can’t wait to start it again this fall.

My shoulders hate high incline benching, but deep decline/handstand pushups are great for hitting alot of that same musculature.

To me, Arnold's chest isn't even arguably the greatest of all time; it IS the greatest of all time.

I want to say the latest studies found that 30 degree incline was the most productive for upper chest?
