“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” -Ephesians 3:20-21

1. When you put God first, you will have God's love for the person.
2. When God is in it, thinking about the person will lead you to think more about God.
3. When your desire is foremost for God, your desire for the person will turn your heart to God.
4. Though you enjoy the person, your greater joy will be in seeing them grow in Christ.
5. A godly relationship will inspire a peace and gentlenes in each other, and not an urgency, nor a fear, nor a need to perform.

Thinking about someone is one thing, obsessing is another. I've learned don't think about them too much if they don't feel the same way about you.

I have definitely been here. Every time I catch myself playing out scenarios, I pray to the Lord to save me from creating fictional stories about the women I date. Create real stories, don't play out fictional scenarios in your mind. Master your own story and do not control or presume the story of others. Especially your loved ones.

1. If you think too much about someone you like, it can make you nervous and you may act unnatural and awkward when you see them.
2. If you think too much about someone you like, it makes you feel like you know them more than you really do.
3. If you think too much about someone you like, it can make you feel like you're trying something, even though you're not.
4. If you think too much about someone you like, it can make it harder to move on if things don't work out.
5. If you think too much about someone you like, it can cause you to have unnecessary expectations if you do become a couple.

I saw this video just as I was about to daydream about him, but decided to instead read our conversation for today and decided to focus on my school work. I love how God works.🙏

Thank you Mark. I needed to hear this. I do struggle with overthinking and anxiety I feel like some traumas have kept me single and I am having a hard time trusting and being confident that God could have a man that would love me enough despite my brokenness. I know people are not perfect. I believe I get lost in my head and create my own decisions and expectations and I hurt myself. Thank you for this . please pray for me.

Thinking of someone too much can and will lead to idolatry

Thank you. I was very hesitant to watch this video because it appeared after me realizing that I was lead by emotion, not by the spirit, when I was talking with a friend I grew very close with recently.
God's timing is really everything, and now I want to focus on loving God and not thinking about someone, even though it may be hard.

Thanks again. God bless.

I’m finally free of thinking about someone too much! 🙌🏼 I’d been praying about it for a while & ALL of these things happened when I was. I feel so much better now that I feel like that weight has been lifted off of me.

Such good points. I pray God will help me rest in Him, He knows me and what I need, whether I will ever get married again or not. Better to be single than in an unblessed marriage.

As I go through this stage of my life that feels like "isolation, " listening to your channel is extremely beneficial. ❤🙏🏾

This video came at the right time. I'm currently thinking of someone, and I don't know what to say to him.

Emotional abusing myself = self-sabotaging.

I've come to the understanding that it may not work again: no matter what I conjure up, and to stay in the present, continue to keep my eyes on Jesus.

I agree 1000%. This is exactly why I started setting emotional boundaries.
