He's right, it's impossible to go through hideous trials without the knowledge of God's two wills. Losing my son, mother and brother all in succession, on the one hand it's "Why God", on the other "I know He's in charge", if I thought God had no power over it, or like some heretics say "Oh it was Satan', I wouldn't have made it, I lived in the word.

A few months ago I hated Calvinism. I preached against it. I wrote against it. I taught against it - even though I've always loved and followed most things in reformed theology. But one of the things I knew deep in my heart is that I should always keep in mind that I probably have misunderstood and misinterpreted some parts of the Scriptures. Thus, I've always prayed for God to deliver me from every wrong doctrine that I believe. I've always asked Him to help me to see and understand what the Bible really means in every subject. Although I'm aware that even if I live hundreds of years I would stil be missinterpreting something in the Scriptures, because I'm a sinner. However, I've experienced a great work of the Holy Spirit in showing me many things that I hadn't seeing before. It was not a easy process, it even took years. We're a very proud people.. but anyhow, I think and believe that any Christian who TRULY prays and MEAN it (that the Lord may show us our wrong beliefs) He will do it. Probably not all of them but most of them, specially the most important ones. I don't know, I have many many friends (true Christians) who are arminian, even I was one, but believe that way.
