My little girl was a beautiful black cat. I absolutely loved her. Even though she was from a shelter, she was litter trained, never scratched furniture, would ask politely for permission if she wanted some lap time, never knock anything off surfaces, never scratch or eat garbage, cuddle and all she wanted to do is be around me and her people. She was the best thing to ever exist. Sadly lost her almost exactly 1 year ago to nasal lymphoma but she will always be the best thing ever (even if I did trip over her a few times in the dark haha)

I "adopted" a community tuxedo cat last winter. She was about 6-7 months old when she started hanging around my place and had been spayed (didn't know this until I took her to the local Humane Society and they found a tiny tattoo on her belly when they shaved her for the procedure). She has an insulated house on my patio in back that's pretty sheltered from the weather, she has food and clean water and comes/goes as she pleases. Every once in a while, she'll bring me a "thank you" present (usually a dead mouse she drops on the mat by the back door) but sometimes she'll be gone for 2-3 days on a walk-about. She seems happy with the arrangement...
