I was healed last year of a terminal brain condition through the Hawaiian Iveron icon of the Mother of God, and as I type this I'm on week 2 of covid that hasn't gone away though I've prayed for it to do so. very hard to hear. i'm going through so much misery and only getting more when i pray. it makes me really angry at God.

But Your Grace, how does this explain God's seeming refusal to answer prayers for the suffering of others? How can it be in my best interests or the interest of my salvation or the salvation of others that children are allowed to die in wars every day and be kidnapped and abused? If God answers in accordance with His will, and not ours, isn't this saying that these terrible things are God's will? This seems to be worse than Him not hearing our prayers at all.

since my teen years i have a hard time due to mental health problems . i prayed and prayed and i even went to a woman that claimed to have visions of the virgin - none have healed me of my malady . i had to eventually retort to masturbation, which has helped me partially to fall asleep, why did god let me down? why does he not answer my prayers ? i feel angry, insulted and abandoned
