4:36 this is probably the most annoying feature of the game- their plane is shredded and they still HMS-launch an R73 at you lol

F-16C has great energy retention and maneuverability combined with updated avionics and BVR missiles, it can performed high altitude intercepting scenario even it's top speed is slower than F-14, SU-27 and F-15. Even in real life, F-16 with upgraded engines can match the climb rate of the F-15A Eagle, which is an important attribute for an intercepting role. (Also, the same reason why F/A-18E/F replaced F-14D for the fleet defense interceptor role.)

The f16c is undoubtably the most fun jet at top tier right now, with both flight performance, and a great loadout. The mirage 2000 is a close second tho, it doesnt really do bvr, but god damn, if you use the mica as a close range high off bore shit ir missile essentially, it absolutely slaps

The most meta jets, especially for anti CAS in grb are all small fighters such as the gripen and f16. You just can’t outperform them in something as bulky as a flanker and especially something as bulky as an eagle

definitely considering this for my next grind, seeing as the F5C is probably one of the best rank 7 premiums right now as it can't face fox-3s it would be a great aircraft to pick up for the summer sale.

In DCS it is defenetly the most meta jet on BVR Servers and also extremly fun.
I already expected the F-16C to be the King of the new meta in wt long before the update.

ATM, F 16 C in war thunder have really bad radar, Mig 29 can get me on radar from 35km+ but f16c cant, sometimes i have visual contact with Su or Mig but i cant ping them while i am starving to get them on radar to ping them in same time they already shoot misile and i am done... AIM 120A radar is useless and when it turn on to ping it ping wrong target, sometimes ping air to air rocket but cant ping enemie aircraft...

In air rb, i actually don’t run any aim-9m’s on my f16c. The AMRAAMs are just that much more useful in nearly all situations

I have the f16c talisman if I can get kills consistently in sim I usually come out with 100k+rp and 300k+sl I love it so much now that su27 and mig29 can actually be missile jousted properly instead of hoping and praying for a 7m to hit

I’ve got a question maybe you can help me out.

I’m now switched the settings to manual radar, set everything but when I try to use the horizontal axis, my entire grid moves to the left and right. The relative is Off.. maybe you can help me out and can tell what I did wrong.
