As someone who has called in ordnance from an F16 in real life and got chills, that F16 intro almost matched that feeling. Holy hell Gaijin, give your editors a bonus because this trailer was NUTS.

I started playing this game 2012, maybe before and I started because I felt one day they would add things like the Apache, Abrams, F-14, Su-25, F-16, A-10. These iconic vehicles. Even features like thermal optics, ATGM’s, night vision (ground & air). 10+ years later everything I wanted is here/coming.

I love that there’s no point of trying to reach top tier anymore, I’m never going to get to that point, but now that that’s aside 2:00 I’m literally speechless give the editor a raise like def this is too good he did a phenomenal job

I absolutely adore the characterization in this video. The Tornado and MiG are depicted with a very conventional noble "gentlemen's war" kind of vibe, with mutual respect between both parties and a fundamental love for the skies. They could be Ace Combat protagonists- two pilots on the opposite side of a war, chivalrous duelists in an era where knights no longer exist.

The F-16 though... it's depicted as inhuman. A threat, an apex predator as the title suggests, more of a force of nature than a vehicle driven by a human pilot. You get the sense that if you saw a Tornado or MiG coming you should prepare for fierce combat. You see an F-16 coming- you _run._
