Well it's official - I am now a fan of Emily. No doubt emotions were running high for her, for Mike, for the rest of the band.

I can only imagine what Emily was thinking and feeling - putting aside just trying to remember the correct lyrics but she was probably thinking "what are the fans going to think of me? Are they going to like me? Are they going to love me? Are they going to tolerate me? Or are they going to hate me? Did I do the right thing and do I belong here or did I make some huge mistake by agreeing to do this?? Will they think I am trying to replace Chester and make him disappear or will they think I am just taking over the role and honoring him?"

When she would stop singing and lead the audience, part of me thinks that's her way of asking LP fans to help her out and accept her.

Waiting For The End is one of my personal favorite LP songs. A Thousand Suns is severely underrated album. Emily did a great job on this one
