How To Grow Unlimited Basil

How to grow infinite basil at home and take your kitchen to the next level. This video shows you how to take a store bought reduced pot or pack of basil and take cuttings to grow roots and then replant.

I also show how to then convert an empty plant milk tub to create a plant pot. For this tutorial I used regular tap water, kitchen scissors and soil from a local park for the ultimate low waste, low cost basil.

Mate you aren’t removing the nodes, just the lower leaves. Also I also cut the stem below the nodes - that’s how you get loads of roots. And PLEASE DO NOT get soil from a park, it’s not what it’s there for! It also may well have been treated with all kinds of chemicals not to mention animal faceces. Drainage holes needed in the pot.
