How to Grow Basil In Water || Secret to growing Unlimited Basil

In this video I'm going to show you how to grow basil in water. By the end of the video you will learn the secret to growing your own unlimited basil. I will teach you how to propagate basil in water. This a cheap and organic way of growing basil herbs at home and would be perfect for your very own indoor herb garden.

This is a really simple technique for balcony gardeners or those with small outdoor space as you can maximize your indoor gardens without the need for expensive equipment. In this video I'm going to show you how to root basil and then plant up your basil into pots. You can then choose to place your basil in containers indoors, grow your basil on the kitchen windowsill or grow basil outdoors. However you decided to grow your basil, they will be great companion plants with your tomatoes this season.

Basil is my absolute fave herb! I planted some store bought a few weeks ago and it's doing well, but I wish I'd seen this! Next time I'll try leaving them in water for the roots to grow first!

Thanks for the tips! Straightforward and easy to follow. I live in Atlanta, Ga USA and a few days ago I grabbed a basil plant from our local grocer here (Publix). After I had it about 72 hours, I transplanted it into a bigger pot and it went limp on me. The leaves are also beginning to spot brown. I’m going to follow your tips to try and save it. 🌱

Can I just leave them growing in water? Anytime I try to grow them in dirt, they die or get fungus gnats.
