"The Su-baru Something that this video completely drops the ball on for both the Subaru Forester & Outback: outward visibility. There are very few cars that even meet the wide open level of visibility for drivers in these vehicles. Some of the other SUVs mentioned in this video absolutely suck for driver visibility - in some, it's like driving a low profile tank, and with wide "A" pillars.

I'm a senior, but I'm not a living corpse! These are all old fogie nursing home SUVs! I'm still alive and just got myself a Durango Hellcat!

Our Outback and Forester are the first vehicles that we don’t have to fold Athena rear seats when putting my dad’s wheelchair in the rear while taking him around. This is Huge for us.
The front and rear heated seats, heated steering wheel is great too. All 4 doors open wide to entry and exit is a breeze.
Furthermore our 110# chocolate Lab rides comfortably in the rear with the seats up.
I can’t say enough good things about our Subie’s.

I like my Crosstrek. Subaru AWD in a more practical size package.

With the current price of automobiles I don’t know any seniors on a fixed income can afford these overpriced vehicles let alone fill the tank. Most vehicles worth buying has the safety features outlined here. An all wheel SUV is nice to have if winter driving is in a senior’s mind but most of the ones I know won’t venture out in bad days.

I am surprised the Hyundai Tucson is on the list! It may offer a lot which seniors like, but as a senior who drives an SUV myself the Tucson is a hazard on the road!. I hate being behind one of these vehicles. For some unknown reason when safety laws require rear brake light visibility above the waist line of the car, Hyundai have the turn signals in the rear bumper. When your in a high vehicle yourself even with safe distance with the turn signals well below visibility level I am surprised it hasn't been banned for safety reasons. I despise the thing and having to drive behind one, because even with caution they are a safety hazard and surprise many drivers behind with late use turn signals.

Your prices are not realistic. They may start there, but you'd better add $6, 000 to %10, 000 to bring your numbers into the real world. You should also mention that these cars are still at low supplies causing the dealers to refuse to negotiate on price, and in many cases there is a 12 to 18 month waiting list for the cars.

Being tall at 6’4, active with cycling, snowshoeing & still going to the hardware store for lumber I am looking at a mid size SUV. Compact SUV wont do it for me

I looked at some of these and they were just boring...granted I had to get an suv as my wife has great difficulty getting in and out of a car. I traded our Chevy Cruze for a 2022 Buick encore gx select..has the same features as some of these mentioned, but looks a bit better and the interior seemed better than some of these listed. So far no problems getting right at 30 mpg, quiet on the highway at 70 mph rides well, even loaded our new 65' inch tv in back with the seats folded!!!! I bought it used for 23K, the sticker new was $29K as it had 6K miles on it and got a good trade of 9K on the cruze. Nice thing is I can see all the way around in the Buick no real blind spots!!!! But to each their own.

No mention of the Mitsubishi models. Comes with an outstanding ten year warranty and a ten year fixed price servicing.

CR-V push button start on all models. The comment about hand mobility, I suffer from bad hand arthritis but, if I can’t turn a key, should I be holding a steering wheel and driving? Please try and make logical points.

It should be noted that the Hyundai and Kia 4cyl engines have a tendency to catch fire, more often than the Ford Pinto.
Also the turbo models in the Honda CR-V break down ALOT.
The Corolla Cross is underpowered, very loud and the AWD system sucks.

Another one to consider for some seniors is the Mazda CX-30. All wheel-drive is standard, starting at $22, 950 which is a much lower price than the others on this list. Same reliable 2.5L engine and transmission that is in the CX-5. This video was definitely Ai. Subaru For-rest-her? Never heard of one.

On the Outback they are showing the wilderness on the road! But the most expensive trim with is different from the wilderness! Gas mileage is only the base engine!! This was put together by amateurs!!!

What the heck is a fore-restor? Pricing is $US and I think based on entry level but showing off a top-of-the line model. I wouldn’t touch a Hyundai if you gave them away considering their reliability issues.

You appear to have overlooked the Skoda Kamiq, probably better than all the ones you have reviewed
