You missed a major criteria for seniors: ease of entry and exit which a sedan does not have.

Your right on the Hyundai, some friends of mine bought one brand new had all the servicing done right when it was due . With just 6 months out of warranty the motor ceased . And it cost them about $6500.00 and Hyundai got some of the parts . Bugger eh .

Recommending cars that are not reliable nor have a low TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) is shameless. Consumers - not only the Seniors - should not waste time and money on lemons.
Honour should be far more important than money.
Given the most important indicators for buying a good car, only the top Japanese cars should be on this list.

Ioniq 5? Electrify America to get where I'm going? Not a chance, because I've done it before in a Chevy Bolt EV and every successful charging stop felt like I dodged a bullet and even just getting to one had me often driving at 55-65 mph on 80 mph Interstate 10 in west Texas. For a septuagenarian, there's nothing like the Supercharger network, a navigation system that plots my route and a vehicle that preconditions my battery in the minutes leading up to each charging stop. My brand new (in January) 2024 Model Y Long Range AWD cost me about the same* or less** as the base Ioniq 5 and, besides all-wheel drive, it has 425 hp and an EPA range of 308 miles. (The rear-wheel drive model is several thousand less and has an EPA range of 320 miles.) I did TWO round trips Texas Gulf Coast to/from northern Wisconsin this summer and I'm doing another in a few weeks. The first trip included sightseeing, so I spent 2 nights in motels each way; the second trip was straight through, driving about 650 miles each day with just 1 night in a motel each way. It's great to be able to drive at or even above the speed limit and not worry whether or not I'll get to the next charger and/or whether it will actually work. (And, come on, a STELLANTIS product for seniors? Maybe for the free coffee and other lonely people to talk with in the dealership service department waiting area.)

*Brand new models in inventory (not just demos) are routinely discounted by thousands.
**Unlike Hyundai and Kia dealers, Tesla does NOT add market adjustments of exactly $7, 500 that "coincidentally" steal your entire point-of-sale federal tax credit!!!

Now that I'm officially an old geezer at 72, I believe I'm qualified to comment here. My advice for seniors? Consider selling whatever you are driving now and move to a location where you don't need a car. With a little thought and planning, you may also be able to do this without moving at all. If you take a moment to think about the real costs of owning a car, both monetary and psychological, you may realize that the "convenience" claims are wildly exaggerated.

Let me fix your video. Get rid of Ford, Jeep, Kia, Hundayi and all the sedans and you’ll have a list seniors can work with.

This is a dubious presentation. The cars are unreliable and maintenance prone

These vehicles are for wealthy seniors not the average Joe & Jane. You get a thumbs down from me.

How is this guy qualified to tell me vehicle is best for seniors? I’m a senior and I wouldn’t buy any of these vehicles. I’ll stick with my Yukon XL and my GTO.

Bogus recommendation for senior. They are paid advertisement. Buy American you go down the ditch.

Right off the bat Jeep Grand Cherokee and Ford Explorer? Come on! Very low rated cars for reliability and owner cost.
Terrible video
