A Forgotten Town in Northern Texas - Driving through Northern Texas, we stumble upon a forgotten town. This town, unlike most towns in Texas, is a virtual time capsule filled with forgotten items from the past. Not only that, this small town in the middle of nowhere happens to be in the top 500 best places to live in the United States of America!!!

It always amazes me how many backroad towns have been forgotten... I think about all the people who were there when the town was rolling but now are gone. I wish there more preservation of these places for our future generations to see and visit. Thanks Sally and Marty.

I GREW UP THERE, THAT CAFE WITH THE ROYAL CROWN COLA AD WAS SKELLY CAFE. GREAT FOOD, AND EVEN HAD A JUKEBOX IN IT! WE WOULD EAT THERE BEFORE THE FOOTBALL GAMES! I PLAYED FOOTBALL AND BASEBALL ON THOSE FIELDS! I ATTENDED THE SKELLYTOWN SCHOOL BACK IN THE DAY, AND I RECENTLY DID A VIDEO ON MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL OF THE INSIDE OF THE OLD SCHOOL BUILDING. IT WAS BUILT IN THE 20’s AND SHUT DOWN AROUND 2000. ~SKELLYTOWN~

Nice little town. Horse shoe toss is the game, we had to chase the horses down and wrestle them for the shoes up hill both ways. Glad to see the relic is doing well also. I still love the old playground equipment. Thank you for the video, Stay well you guys.

My home town. I grew up here in the 90's. It was a happening place back then.
