I like how the video immediately gets to the point, without an excruciating long intro……

I feel like I grew up in Desert Center since the late 60's. We lived in Southern California and would pull off the I-10 onto Rice rd and always stop here on the way to Black Meadow Landing Lake Havasu. Across from the gas station is a tiny fast food run down place best corn dogs with mustard in the world had those many times between 1969 and early 80"s my Brother and I were the original River Rats sweet memories thanks Mom and Dad😊

I like your style.
You have a new subscriber because you jumped right in to your interesting, well made video without 5 minutes of chatter about what you were about to show us. So many 'Tubers make that mistake so it's great to see you get right to the point.

Photos of these places in their hay day would have been cool to see.
The original Lake Dolores was a blast, we used to go there all the time when I was a kid!

My family lived in Eagle Mountain in the 1960s. It's bizarre to see it in ruins.

so well done! Thanks for the videos! Really like how you also get right to the video when others get dragged on. Drone footage is awesome!

As a kid, I remember and was fascinated by the Lake Dolores TV commercials while living in LA.

Cant believe you didnt mention the George Air Force Base in Victorville, CA. Its a whole military base abandoned. Thousands of people lived there and worked there. I have seen it in person and it is as eerie as it can get. Feels like someone is always watching.

Years ago (probably the late 1980s) I was forced to stop at that Halloran gas station as the radiator was overheating. There was a mechanic on duty, and he determined it was a stuck thermostat. He didn't have a replacement, so we decided to just take it out and run the rest of the way to Las Vegas without a thermostat. Worked fine.

The government should recondition these homes and then give them to the homeless veterans and their families.

Great video! Appreciate how you cover the story and not drag it on.

I went out to the water park back in 2017 and shot a few videos. At that time 2 buildings had been burned down and many palm trees had been cut down and left on the concrete. I am considering making another trip out there to the park and maybe even swinging into Ransburg.

I grew up in Parker, Az. Returning home from military service I settled in Lake Havasu City where I spent my twenties and thirties. My parents live in Vegas. It’s fair to say that I’m a desert rat. I spent lot of time exploring these places in your video. I now live in Oregon and it may seem odd to hear but this video made me homesick. The Mohave Desert may seem depleted but my most fond memories were made there. The southwestern desert will always have a place in my heart. Cool video!
