Turn Any InDesign Shape into a Text Box

Learn how to easily create unique shaped text boxes within InDesign. Details below...

Shapes can be created using a variety of tools including...
- Ellipse Frame Tool
- Polygon Tool
- Pen Tool

To convert any of these into a text box, select the Type Tool and click inside the shape.

The Direct Selection Tool can be used to manipulate the anchor points on these shapes along with any handles they may have.
