We take electrolyte from food ! Salads! Fruits! Etc

Regular water DOES hydrate us, since we get electrolytes from our food. If you're eating nutrient dense foods and salting to taste, this is never, ever, an issue.

How did our ancestors survived without electrolytes

You don't need extra electrolytes added to your water unless you are doing marathons, in combat forces/training, or you're sick with diarrhea and vomiting. Water in every other case, is 100% fine. We take in our electrolytes from food.

Electrolytes are not required for day to day activities. It is required when you are sweating a lot because you lose sodium through sweat. Sauna, maybe, but generally its for athletes, marathon runners, football games etc. You dont even need it for your average gym session. You can take a rehydration pack if youre dehydrated through neglect or sickness but otherwise your tap water is fine. 2-3l a day and thats all you need. Slight yellow tint to your urine and thats when you know youre hydrated enough.

My Doc hydration advice: 1 glass of lukewarm water and 1 lemon juice and a bit of salt inside before eating anything in the morning. What do yall think?

Guys, wait for someone who actually understands human body. Unless you are a professional athlete, you do not need anything more than water.

Plain water is enough.

A healthy diet provides more than enough electrolytes. Even a sub-healthy diet provides enough. Electrolyte surplus can be a bigger health risk than deficiency, especially with sodium. If you fear the risk of electrolyte deficiency, contact a dietitian and plan a diet that caters to your needs. This is not necessary for an average person who is not on a specialized diet. If you experience symptoms of electrolyte deficiency such as nausea, cramps, or arrythmia in serious cases, contact your local medical services for instructions. In case of an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

For the majority of population, plain water suffices with the addition of eating a regular diet. Consult a dietitian if you believe you would need electrolyte supplements.

The best way is to eat fruits and raw veggies to get electrolytes and minerals.

When I used to hike more than 35 miles in a day, I would add oranges and bananas to my beef jerky and trail mix. The oranges and bananas were usually my electrolytes on the trail sometimes with a pinch of salt on the orange

Electrolytes are minerals that help the flow of the nerves, skin and bodily function. They’re electrical particles that contain positive and negative charges. It’s what we called mineral such as salt, sugar and soluble substance such as in coconut water, watermelon, banana ( plátanos), and any green vegetables. I think that regardless of what anyone says clean pure water is great for all of us and eating and drinking squeezed, fresh juice are the greatest sources of electrolizar. Not so much what sponsors wants to make us buy from them per se.

Electrolytes are the same as minerals, or free-ions in solution like dissolved salts. Regular tap water contains calcium, iron and fluoride. If you absolutely want to get as many electrolytes as possible, just and a pinch of pink salt to your water. If you consume too much, your body will just urinate it out anyway, so there's no point in adding a whole packet to your water; just a pinch is fine.

Electrolytes can be found in a wide variety of natural food. Don’t use additives. Just eat your fruits and you will get enough of them.

THERE ARE SEVEN ELECTROLYTES. Not 3. Don’t misinform others . You can’t add phosphates, , etc, magnesium, potassium, to your water. Find foods that have those electrolytes such as bananas. They have potassium.

, nuts, seeds, wheat, oat brain have magnesium .

Add salt because it has sodium chloride
For phosphates eat dairy products, fish, chicken

Dairy products will also have calcium.

For bicarbonates, eat corn bread, cookie ( sugar )
