As someone who rejected Christianity as a teenager on doctrinal grounds, I've since found that the life of Jesus and his teachings makes far greater sense when seen from a non-dualist perspective. The Gospel of Thomas shows this was definitely part of the Early Christian movement

The notion that The kingdom of God is within you, is also biblical. Luke 17:21. It's what scholars call parusia. Great video man! Well appreciated!!

Reminds me a lot of "The future is already here – it's just not evenly distributed." (W. Gibson)

I had a nagging feeling that Jesus was true but his true teachings were not understood and hidden by dogmatic people for motives other than salvation.

There is an old saying, "History is written by the victors". So in essence many things we have been taught as history has a strong likelihood of not being exactly how it actually went since it is being depicted from a certain perspective and not all perspectives involved.

This is the concept of Christianity that brought me back to the teachings. The goal is enlightenment. 500 years after the Buddha brought the message of enlightenment to us and left to be one with the universe.

I have been reading The Gospel of Thomas document for years. It's modern theology makes more sense than the church controlled and produced canonical scriptures. I love The Gospel of Thomas and consider myself a Thomasine Christian who will not taste death and have been already resurrected in the Lord. The Kingdom is within us and all around us. Greetings and Blessings To All. Amen.

The best non-dual Christian book I've ever read. The Gospel of Thomas should be read by all Christians for a true taste of Christianity..

The way I understand it, the Gospel of Thomas is for the esoteric. Those who have the eye to see beyond the veil. No wonder it wasn't included in the current Bible. Powerful words!

reading the Nag Hammadi was very interesting, knowing the contentious rivalry that envelopes the topic of debate, it certainly allows for the individual to discover and learn about the diverse methods of thought surrounding this subject matter.

Very much appreciate your professionalism in presenting different sources of and aspects of Christianity. I've left my church, but it seems I'm really only beginning to learn.

David Brakke's vidoes on Gnostis is one of the most intresting things I've ever found on the internet. I really want to thank you Filip and Andrew from Religion for Breakfast for inspiring me to keep looking up all those awesome lectures.

Wonderful video. Thank you.
Your outro reminds me of the soundtrack of the animated film, The Rabbi's Cat, a lovely fictionalized account of a time and place where peoples and languages and faiths lived side by side. It always makes me happy to hear it.
