I realized tonight that I became a Christian last year, because I’m a sinner, a broken man, evil and unworthy to be saved; who deserves eternal punishment and the penalty to pay is death; and needed our Lord Jesus Christ who took my place, and paid my penalty so that I can be reconciled with God the Father.
I realised that I did not become a Christian for any other reason, except to be saved. I don’t expect anything from God. I only desire His grace and mercy for the sin I committed against Him.
