He's so right in his opening remarks. The words "Jesus" "Saved" "Sin", etc. all have been mocked so much by popular media that it's a challenge for people to clearly understand what the gospel and faith is all about. But, it's the Holy Spirit that does the work, so we must persevere.

He did not give the gospel. He said we are separated due to sin from God and that Jesus offers a relationship with us/Him but Ravi did not say that Jesus fulfilled the Law and died in our place and rose again on the third day as per the Scriptures.  That's the good news.

Even us who believe the gospel can be desensitized to it's genuine divine driven life change of the blood of Jesus Christ. We need the gospel daily. Real life, real purpose, because of the sacrifice of Jesus received through faith! GOOD NEWS! Thanks Ravi! Thanks 4regen!

I clicked on this video for the very purpose of seeing if he would give a clear answer or a convoluted philosophical explanation. I like Ravi Zacharias but I have been quite Disturbed with how he seems to always err on the side of trying to find a philosophical slant on Christianity which is sensible to the unsaved person and yet which deviates from the simple message of scripture.

That's not what the gospel addresses. The gospel addresses our sin. The gospel is not for personal satisfaction primarily but for forgiveness of sins.

I wonder if this is the Gospel. I thought we were to believe in Jesus for his promise of everlasting life after seeing him as the Son of God, the Christ who can be trusted to give such a gift. I didn't hear the gospel of John. I didn't hear that from Dr. Ravi Zacharias.

Amen, though on that first part, I'm honestly not sure most young people even know what the Gospel is! Fellow students and younger believers in christ: We MUST reach out to our daily friends and colleagues at school/university etc. and pray for them earnestly: it may be the only chance they get to hear the Gospel in their entire life!

Christ died for your sins, was buried and rose the third day! 1 Corinthians 15: 1-4
For the "long answer"... prayerfully read Romans 5 a few times (KJV)

I came here looking for a video to show unchurched people which explains the Gospel in simple terms. Sadly, this does not do so.
