Anderson.

The writing of the dialogue often makes or breaks these shows and unfortunately judging off this clip alone, it is very stilted and meandering. Stretching out to fill time, what could of been communicated much faster with better camera direction. Hoping this isn't a trend for the rest of the show!

Honestly this looks .. dissapointing. Almost everything about it seems amateur. I appreciate it's not going to be as high quality as Dune, because the films are practically the pinnacle of modern cinema, but the costumes (basically just a black dress with a shell necklace), the acting (not believable), the conversation and the cinematography arn't up to scrach with most modern tv series in terms of quality/budget. Even the effects for the small screens looks incredibly fake and computer generated.

If you're going to ride on the success on the films you have to get atleast close to the quality bar they've set, otherwise, whats the point?

(Obviously this is just a small clip but that's all we can judge at the moment)

I went to comments if anybody found the scene to be...well just bland. It's not even the lack of music but those two women sit 30cm apart and camera cuts every 3s from idiotic angle to idiotic angle (there are few good ones). It seems like it was edided by someone with ADHD. Just film wider angle or shots with both of them in and longer cuts instead of cut every other sentence. Anyway I will give it a try but this doesnt inspire confidence at all in me.

Amazing. Exactly how I envision how the Mother Superior & her aides would speak behind closed doors, pulling the strings of political & galactic machinations
