You can make the twister less turbulent by removing the black fans, as you know hot air rises and cold air drops, so the fire could rise with the spinning motion

I did not use a fan but use the original volcano grill with both sides open and it created the fire devil

Tornadoes such they don't push, you need to allow the fire itself to create the suction and then off set the sucked in air
