3 Steps to Unceasing Prayer

First Thessalonians 5:17 says to “pray constantly,” but how do we do that? In this video, Fr. Mike Schmitz suggests a three-step approach used by St. Francis de Sales. These steps can be difficult or easy, but the important thing to remember is that simply inviting God into every moment is as good a way to pray as any.

Oh my!!! What a confirmation! I have made the observation that in the morning before my day starts I ask God to reveal Himself in Scripture and then after reading pray...ask Him to be with me and help me to do His will and act in a way that is pleasing to Him during the day...I can tell you because I'm not consistent with this morning routine that it works!!!! My day becomes a prayer because when I ask the Father to be with me. And the days I'm negligent...I notice. Thank you Fr. Mike! I NEEDED that confirmation
