Here Is What Airplane Traveling Looked like in the 1970s, the Golden Age of Aviation. Interesting!

Flying has turned into an expensive journey to get to your destination and many people wish there was another way. The fact is, people, pay more for air travel but the seats are less comfortable and the frequent cancellations and congested airports only add to the aggravation.

The 60’s and 70’s were truly the golden age of aviation. The following interesting images could clearly pass for futurist renderings of what aviation would look like in the future but in fact, they highlight what traveling was like in a Boeing 747 in the 1970s.

If airplanes were more like this today, I’d probably fly more often. I’d like to know at which point aviation companies starting designing planes that are cramped and now make its passengers feel claustrophobic? Even the stewardess looks happy!

This was wonderful reliving my flying experience as a kid. Even though everything was formal it was so pleasant.

Yep! Anyone who is old enough to have experienced aviation prior to the turn of the millenium knows the further they can remember, the better it was. Talk about progress... Economy class was NEVER such a bad experience before the 2000s, and business or first classes were truly luxurious experiences even though the seats didn't turn into beds. These nowadays mainly help knock out a few hours of flying in a cramped space, no matter what the class. The lack of space in modern layouts is the core problem, due to the fact absolutely everything is geared towards profit, to the detriment of everything else.
Thank you for a great video. I just wish the voice wasn't computerized, as I normally skip watching videos that use them, but I couldn't miss this one anyway.

they did this especially for compensating the noise and uncomfortable flights because of propellers engines😃 (before jet ones) 👌🏿 but still, it looks amazing!

The millennials don't understand what customer service is, I switched to rail for a while on domestic routes but they've even screwed that up by taking away the dining cars on a lot of trains.

Although you highlighted 1st class and business class options even coach class was WTF nicer, roomier back then than today's sardine can scheme. And airlines now are even considering removing the seats and having stand-up racks with mere butt shelves.

Flying is less expensive today then it was in the 70s. I got a cross country flight for only $400. In the 70s it would’ve been over $1000. Of course if you ad inflation it might be more expensive. And I just contradicted my comment.
