I'm using the Nintendo switch (my 7 year old sons). After working many hours to save, time and money for beginners (i am one myself) Iv learned a lot from your videos, but i have ventured myself and learned a few tips for those starting from scratch..

1. Harvest Soy beans. You can save time at the start by buying the Massy DynaFlex 9255 head, it will fit the new holland harvester (i done it as a trial hindsight after buying the JD T560) Also the JD 645 FD head will fit the JD T560 & New Holland if i remember correctly.

2. Cultivate your fields from wheat and set/sow to soybeans. Once you harvest the soybeans, DON'T CULTIVATE TO RE SET/SOW (save you time and fuel money) just set/sow straight on top on the harvested fields you will see the colour difference on the fields, it will still grow. (i also have Time scale settings in 45x.

3 Also, do the work yourself (it's time consuming, but saves you money on helpers). Also top your seeder up after each harvest of your 3 fields, ( i found it cheaper than leaving your seeder run out to fill back up. And the same principle with the Harvester and tractors.

4. Go to your Prices menu and check to see which of your selling points is paying the most for your soybean at that time (prices and selling points change regularly, even if a selling point is in high demand, still check the prices.

5. One you work with 1, 2, 3 & 4 save & Invest in a bigger trailer to make less journeys and a bigger seeder, I invested in the Rapid A 600S and have the CASE 7250 Pro on the seeder and the Fendt 515C on the TKD 302 trailer. I'm currently saving with the above tips to buy the JD 8400 R and the Amazon Condor 15001,

I then plan to continue as i am, to buy further machinery and then buy more fields, before i go in to Dairy and start milking and planting other crops.

Here’s the comment everyone is looking for on how to get big equipment pretty much right away in game, this will take about one hour give or take

Start new game

Step1 sell the new Holland combine, the header for it, and the case IH

Step2 buy the smaller John Deere combine and the header for the idea combine like shown in this video

Step3 harvest the field of wheat that the game starts you with

Step4 hook the grain trailer that you start with up to the back of the combine and start selling the grain in the silo and the grain you harvested

Step5 get discolander xm52 in cultivators it plants canola as well as cullivates you can sell both the cultivator and planter that you start with at this point

Step6 get the small fertilizer spreader

I agree on the cattle because milk production isn’t stopped by rain or hail like crops. Trying an experiment to follow your spending money wisely tip. If you check very carefully there is one cultivator, one seeder and most of the slurry manure and towed fertilizer spreaders that can be used with the man large truck. That way you don’t have a pricey machine sitting idle for long stretches and get more out of the investment. Not a starter plan but more of a second phase one. Great video and stay safe in this chaotic time!

I think this game opens itself up to different money management tips at different points in the game.

For example, at the start, I would recommend keeping horses as you have time in which to ride them and the mark up on each animal is huge. I would recommend selling unused straw and making hay on areas which are not fields.

However, as the game progresses, the return against time spent is not big enough to keep doing this.

I agree with your tip about crop I only agree with soybeans begin the most profitable if you sell for more than $2, 000 per 1, 000 L. I have spent time recording prices over a period of time and worked out price ranges, averages etc. If you sell at average prices, Canola is more profitable given the higher yield and smaller price spread when compared to soy.

Yes using a planter that can either cultivate and plant or plant and fertilize at the same time are complete life savers, when I plant soybeans I use the best planter and it can cultivate, plant and fertilize at the same time. Good video!

Horses proved to be the best for me. I bought 4 horses, a mower, a tedder and a loading wagon. I alternated that with picking up small amount of hay/straw from the field. You cut the grass on the borders, there is no need to establish a meadow. You don't need oats. It only took me 4 days to train all the horses and then I sold for $200, 000🤑. Then I bought another 8 horses and started again. In a month of playing I have all the fields, 3x JD 8400, 2x Class xerion and 2x Ideal 9.

Potatoes are actually by far the most profitable crop once you can afford the harvester.

Thank you so much for the tips. I started playing 2 days ago and not making any money from wheat. Will start on soya beans and upgrade to a bigger header for my combain

Soybeans are profitable but when harvested give lower yield for the same field than oats, barley, sugarbeet and potato for example. So, I usually prefer sowing barley or oats since they give much higher yield per field and gets you more money when you sell it than compared to soybeans for that same field. Once you buy potato or sugarbeet tech you can make even more money per field than ever before.

I prefer to sell the seeder and the cultivator at the beginn. Than you get enough money to buy the seeder from horsch which is a direct seeder incl. fertilizer. And the Case tractor has enough hp to us it.

Here is what I found when comes to crops. Soybeams, canola, sunflowers, when starting out.

The more the crop sells for the less it yields. Wheat is worth less than soybeans but you get more wheat from the same field!
