Maybe the gpu broke from sag because if it sags too much the soldered parts won’t connect anymore

That GPU was hanging on for dear life.

Maybe get a GPU stand or bracket as the GPU sags a lot causing it to damage the motherboard, maybe that would help

Well, if the customer replaced his card with the one he originally had, it might cost a bit since it's a special edition by the looks. Maybe if they got the same card used and did a little switcheroo with the cooler, then they'd save some money at the same time. 😅

I have somewhat the same problem. Every time I boot my computer up, I first boot my monitor, then I wait like 3 secs and boot my computer. That's the only way I get it to post. If I boot the monitor after booting the computer, no post.

If I lived in Toronto, you guys would be awesome to work with, I love your builds and how you keep humanity and customer relations as a priority.

i remember bricking my motherboard and GPU at the same time because of a bios update. My mom took me to her friend she say that is an amazing pc repair shop. I explained that i might have bricked my motherboard due to a bios update. and i was already prepared to buy a new motherboard.

upon the initial checking of the technician, it was confirmed to be a bricked bios. not only on the Motherboard but on the gpu as well. at this point, i was ready to spend 300-400 usd just to buy the parts since i need it.

then they said they will try something. They desoldered the bios chip on my motherboard and put it on a clip looking thing with wires sticking out of it. manually updated the bios. he did the same with the gpu. and soldered it back and it was fixed!.

They deep cleaned the physical hardware of the PC and only charged me $40. Bro. They are amazing.

We reached an Era where the repair shop doesn't even repair but just find where the problem is and tell you to replacing parts

Always try both display ports and the hdmi port I had a 3080 one display port wouldn't work but the second one and the hdmi worked great.

It pays to be a high budget repair technician and a mechanic, I literally save myself thousands on repairs 😂

This is the difference between PC enthusiasts working and a true IT professional, the IT professional would diagnose the card and could do it without a spare PC.

All I really got out of this was a view of some pretty good looking cases with nice lighting.

Damn he’s gonna have to buy a new GPU plus pay the $200 you guys charged him for the diagnoses😂

I like how the ram dirt is no longer a issue for rich people ☠️

Im not a expert tech on maintenance. But I do take out a weekend once a year-ish, to clean everything. Put it together. Game. Map my content to the right SSD/HDD. Wipe it. Tidy up the cables and lighting. Forget about it until I think its time to do it again or upgrade.
