Worst Collision Repair On A VW We've Ever Seen!

You're not going to believe what we found with this VW Eos!

Our customer's daughter was driving this unsafe vehicle and didn't even know it!

This customer came to us from over an hour away because he was getting the run around from his insurance company! After picking his vehicle up from an insurance referral shop he noticed that his top would not fully retract.

He took it back to the shop that the insurance company referred him to because the repair was "guaranteed". The shop told him that it had nothing to do with the accident.

He then went to a dealer who told him the frame of his top was damaged and it need to be replaced. During this time he was arguing with his ins. co. to try to get them to cover the additional damage and they said it was not related to the loss!

After doing some research he found us, we found that his daughter was driving an unsafe vehicle, we found all of the un-repaired and unresolved issues, got the insurance company back out to look at everything and they ended up totaling the car!

Don't be fooled into thinking that the shop your insurance company is referring you to is looking out for your best interest and that they are going to give the best repair!!

Its such a pity that an unsafe repair outweighs the value of human life. Thank you for posting this video and your great advice.

New cars have gotten to the point that they’re unrepairable once they get into an accident. “Throwaway cars”

If I’m paying premiums the Insurance Company wants me to pay, then I should choose an auto shop I know is best.
Not some Pay n’ Spray shop that’s cheaper for them to pay out to.👎🏻

I remember my boss owned a taxi business and a driver crash it against a light pole with a concrete base. The insurance company sent it to a repair shop and they
did a half ass job. It kinda looks like this car. Sloppy finish and the frame was bent . It drove sideways and the tires were bald in 3 weeks. The insurance company argued its was fixed according to the market price and standards. The car was so bad, the boss wrote it off himself because it created so much complaint from customers, drivers and the mechanic refused to fix anything and sign off on it. Not only that, "when its time to go for a commercial inspection, it will fail and the insurance company who fixed it will cover their ass and walk away, leaving the boss holding the bag. This is why the insurance company will just write them off even the damage is not severe. They have to learn their lesson the hard way. But its the consumer who gets fucked in the long run.

The wheel getting pushed back did not move the a pillar and damage the top. MAYBE if that wheel was destroyed, just that one picture shows otherwise.

TO SAVE thats why ... Think like an insurance company, would you rather spend $20k to PROPERLY fix it or $5k to fix it and have it "drive-able"

It does not matter what YOU think, you pay the insurance company for THIS reason and that is to FIX your car when it wrecks. The insurance company does NOT care about your car, they care about saving as much $$ as possible.

The problem is the insurance these days has control in how the car is gonna be repair what kind of parts they gonna use to fix the cars and how much the shop is gonna get pay.
So the insurance expect perfection but the pay a miserable labor time plus garbage aftermarket parts.
In the top of that they rushing the delivery date by putting pressure on the body shop
Who's fault is this ?

sometimes customer gets $8K from insurance - stays quiet and tells a shop he's only got $4K and no insurance - shop fixes what they can and want and when things go south at the end of the repair the shop is to blame? He then goes to next shop where its discovered all the damage was not fixed. lol
