Will mention here again - People forget Pete served in USN in Afghanistan 2014-2017. Also was an armed driver for a year in and out Kabul transporting commanders avoiding explosives and traps. Speaks 8 languages. Far a cut above everyone who tries to punch him down.

He likely won’t be the VP but Pete needs to campaign hard for Kamala across the country. He’s the dems best current communicator.

Pete Buttigieg is the level of intelligent leadership that I wish the entire country was wise enough to embrace.

That's gotta be the longest standing ovation any Secretary of Transportation has ever gotten.

PETE BUTTIGIEG is a gift to America. As a retired educator, I am so pleased that the country is still producing public servants with his commitment and communication skills. I predict that he will be the President of the United States one day.

Mr Buttigieg is genuinely respectful of everyone, something very rare in America.

I wish the people of this country were open minded enough to elect this guy. He is immensely qualified, very smart and I just don't think we are there yet, unfortunately for us. I would love to be proven wrong.

He checks so many boxes: quick and informed mind, ultra lucid speaker, very likeable, respectful, and doesn't miss a beat! Hang onto him, Kamala! Hope to see him get a prominent position in her cabinet.

Mayor Pete has that optimistic aura that Obama has, such a positive vibe. Our country could really use that right now.

When Pete Buttigieg was running for POTUS in 2020, I worked on several of his rallies in Charleston SC. I saw him on the stump and "backstage." He is very articulate, well-read, smart as a whip, and firmly in control of his emotions. I would vote for Pete Buttigieg for ANYTHING in a skinny second!

As a 70-year-old, I can explain the crowd's ovation from a historical (i.e. "older") perspective: precisely how many people in that audience ... those in their 50's and 60's and 70's ... have pondered what it would've been like to see a young John Kennedy on, say, the Jack Paar Show on a 50's TV show. Meaning ... there's a lot of folks in that audience that realize they're in the same room as a future U.S. president. Wish I'd been there ❤
