Favorite thing about this is how the depths is just an inverted overworld yet is completely different

I mean, the real reward are:

1. The map is complete.
2. It gives you the location of every single shrine on the surface (not the sky though), since lightroots are at the exact location in the depths as the shrine on the surface.

I like that they tell you when you are done and don't have to wonder if you overlooked one.

i wish these 100% medals were items you could attach to your weapons / shields so you could run around and actually see them instead of just having a sticker in your key item slots

Very useful tip i discovered while exploring in the depths: I noticed every lightroot is in the same exact spot your shrines are in the overworld.

I too was expecting a bunch of hands to pop up and go and then instantly leave because of all the light.

This is just like hunting all the Koroks, the reward is the journey. This way people who don't want to do all of them don't miss out on anything.

One of the first things i did was try to fully illuminate the depths, the most useful thing was realizing you can have the overworld map pulled up on your minimap display and where theres water up above theres an impassable wall below

Ponds and rivers in the surface of hyrule’s map match up with the black bits and walls of the depths map where you can’t go

The last Lightroot took me SO long to find (or rather, how to get to it) and when I finally did, the game was like: Congratulations! Here's... this" :/ lolll.

The whole underground area remind me so much of deeproot depths from elden ring. And one of the weapons the construct dudes carry totally reminds me of a very specific unique weapon in elden ring as well.

I got to say I finished the depths too but last spot was that one hidden spot next to the hyrule castle that one way too hidden and wish we got more crazy depth holes like that one
