Launch X431 CRP919E Review Best BiDirectional For The Money

I review the LAUNCH X431 CRP919E OBDII bidirectional scan tool that was recently released to compete directly with the XTOOL D7, and the AUTEL 808 series of automotive scanners. This tool features bidirectional control consisting of resets, actuation tests and special functions. I tested the tool on a Honda Civic and was impressed with the actuation tests I could perform. The Launch X431 CRP919E easily activated the radiator fan, windshield wipers, signals, door locks, and more just to name a few. You can view all live data PIDS from all modules in the vehicle in either text form, or graph form. The CRP919E is compatible with the newer protocols of CAN FD and DoIP. The CRP 919E reminds me of Snap-on scanners with its red body and black trim and buttons. The mechanical buttons are really nice for when your fingers wet/greasy and the screen won't respond. It also has an "automatically connect" feature that can be turned off in the settings. This features makes the tool automatically auto-vin the vehicle and intimately start a full system scan which checks all the modules. It is currently on sale at Amazon.

I recently bought this and overall it's a nice upgrade over my Autel DiagLink. However, the one thing I didn't know prior to purchasing and it's quite important is that you can't monitor data pids and perform a bi-directional test both at the same time. So for example, if you want to see how the O2 sensors react while you turn on the evap purge valve...you can't do that. You can go into actuations and turn on the evap purge valve but you can't see the real-time o2 data stream.

I've been looking at countless videos about the launch crp919x, and this is possibly the best I've come across so far. It's definitely the best at highlighting the bidirectional capabilities!

I was just wondering if you think the Bluetooth version is worth the money, or if the Bluetooth connection stability is anything to worry about?

Launch X321 CR919E might be over kill but I'm looking for a scan tool that would pull up actual mileage from BCM/Dash, Engine and ABS, not just from Dash. Would this one fit the bill? I'm driving a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. My first thought was to go with a THINKSCAN Plus S5 or S7.

I have refilled the additive fluid on my 2009 Volvo V70 1.6 diesel EcoDrive, but the car is still warning that the fluid is low. I have tried clearing the fault codes, but they keep coming back.
