I like boiling, drying, then shallow frying to get one side crispy. You can so that by pan frying first, adding water, then letting steam... but none of my big pans have lids.

Boiled dumplings are my favourite, I find soup/broth dishes so comforting and these go amazing in broth. I've been finding it hard to find vegan ones though 😔

My favorite way to eat dumplings is in a soup. Pan sear them first for a little texture and in the broth they go.

My favorite dumplings are not Asian style dumplings. It's weird that people act like dumplings is just this one category of food that is only found in Asia, literally the entire planet has arrived at this concept. I think the best are Polish, or maybe Italian.
