Emergency Dumpling Soup

Stupidly simple dumpling soup. What I make when I am in desperate need for soup. Please buy a big bag of dumplings from an asian supermarket, it's literally like £5 and it will save your life. This is obvs not authentic of any sort but it's quick, easy and gets the job done x

Also I think using a shrimp chilli oil here is incredible because you get so much flavour with one thing. But a regular chilli oil will work great too.

Ingredients (for 1 bowl)
• 1 stock cube
• 1 tbsp soy sauce
• 1 tbsp balsamic vin
• 1 tsp shrimp crispy chilli oil
• 1 egg scrambled
• 7 - 10 dumplings
• spring onions
• sesame seeds

Some leafy greens like spinach would be nice too

Made this with rice vinegar instead, some chipotle chili oil, and leftover onion, FIRE! And so easy to make, definitely will be a staple in my kitchen

So you scramble the eggs first or just add an egg that is whisked as it doesn’t looked scramble

That looks amazing but a lot of salt with the stock cube and soy sauce. Maybe not so much stock?

Why not put the dumplings right in the hot soup. It’s the same thing and you don’t waste another pan.
