It's been one week since I accepted delivery of the 2021 Tesla Model Y. As a first time Tesla owner I experience a lot during the first week.

The basic 110-volt level one charger will be fine for us. My wife and I drive about 5, 500 miles per year combined on our single car. That works out to 15 miles per day; so only about 5 hours of charging per day.

I don't have a Tesla yet, but I do have an EV, and I know what you mean about not having to go to the gas station. I used to hate leaving the house with a 1/4 tank and if I was running late, I would still have to stop at a gas station for 10 mins for gas. Now, I have a full tank (Charge) every morning and never worry about having to stop anywhere on my way to my destination. I love it!!!

Haha I can relate, people get mad when I say I can't see myself going back to an ICE car after a couple weeks ownership, but it's the truth! Congrats on the Y

I've had mine for 2 months. Love this car. Have been charging it overnight with a 110 outlet. Has been no problem but am having 220 installed tomorrow. My car arrived in perfect condition. Body gaps and paint just perfect. Got into my wife's Mercedes and put it in gear, went nowhere. I forgot to start it!

I bought the exact same one! White on white with the induction rims. I agree with you...the hype is real. I've had mine for a month and am still amazed. Every time I take someone for a ride and show them how fast it can take off...they freak tf out. HAHA!
