I agree with your comment about a handle to help get out. It’s even more needed in the model 3 because you sit lower. But there is something to be said for simplicity.

I had a loaner MY for 2 days and without the display behind the steering wheel, my neck was hurting from always looking over to change features. They need to put a display behind the steering wheel, at least to check the speed. I’ve decided to wait for other configurations to come out and more range before I purchase

I don't understand why you would not charge more than 80%. The initial reason is that you want to keep the highest battery capacity over time but why do you want this when you are not even using the full capacity in the first place? It's just an honest question, what I do with my phone is that I try to use slow charging as often as I can and I don't let it below 40%.
