Love the sharp reflections and contrast on Vsder's helmet in the Grindhouse edition, and Luke's white lightsaber gives me nostalgia from the VHS days 😀

The grindhouse version really takes me back. My mind is telling me not to like it, because of its graininess and faded colors, but in my heart, I really like it.

In the Grindhouse edition Luke looks like he has a silver ightsaber instead of blue due too the quality I assume.

The 2011 Special Edition Blu-ray and Harmy's Despecialized Edition v2.0 have the the richest shade/colour tone and vibrancy consistency.

The despcialized edition fixed all the lightsaber problems. The blu Ray had it too pink but the gout and renegade had inconsistent oranges. Thanks harmy!

I wish they would put Vader's yell at 2:40 back in these newer releases. I have no idea why Lucas decided to reuse the earlier yell from when Vader got blasted with the steam.

The shot from Luke's perspective looking down at 7:56 was changed to show clouds moving in 1997, one of the alterations a lot of people miss (it wasn't in Marcelo Zuniga's excellent "All Changes Made to Empire" video). Glad Harmy caught it.
