finally, ZiJie in your food show. had a few good chuckles esp when ZiJie said "you invited me as a guest, but introduce me like a criminal. haha. this episode is a living proof of 'it's not about the food, it's the company you get." it's like hanging out with your buddies. good times!

Shucks... It seems the world aged so fast but Rao remains to have the same appearance. For someone so busy in life, thank you for sharing your food experience.

FYI Butter chicken is a recent creation. It was created when a chef at a restaurant was trying to figure out what to do with left over Tandoori Chicken, the creation ended up being one of the most loved dishes of modern Indian cuisine, but only usually served at events or large parties, and not eaten on a daily basis. As for Chicken Tikka Masala, if I am not mistaken, it is not really Indian food, but a British creation. It was created but the Indian community in the UK to cater to British tastes.

Love the butter chicken and naan combo as well. Definitely a good intro for those unfamiliar to North indian food.

Anglo Indian Cafe & Bar is bomb diggity, they have several outlets and their quality is consistent throughout. Their butter chicken is a real knock outta the park. I’d say their menu prices are absolutely justified. Love their cheese and butter naans too!

The dough on top of the briyani is to create an air tight seal to cook the rice and meat properly.

Most indian restaurants in sg are south indian owned - they may have north indian on the menu in addition to the thosai but it usually isn't great.

Sporean Sikhs don't seem to run many restaurants 😂 but north indian food is also expensive bc of the ingredients and lack of hawker culture around north indian food.

Typo on subtitle 14:00 where Ryan was referring to North Indian Cuisine & not ‘non-indian cuisine’.

Any opening for QC Department? 😉
