Using The HX Stomp As A Midi Controller

Here's how I use my HX Stomp XL as a midi controller and why I think the XL is worth it. These things are capable of so much.

This could also be used to switch overdrives if plugged into a MCL5 / MCL10 right? Ie with BS & Delay in the Effects loop, it can send midi to those afterwards as well.

XL is such a versatile device, especially combined with other midi prdals

Great playing and tones. I use an HX Stomp with an Eventide H9 on my board. I'm using the H9 at the end of my board for reverbs. Your video has inspired me to look into how I can change the H9 settings via midi from the HX Stomp. Thank you

How did you set up the midi to control the Eventide and Strymon? I have almost the same set up and my timefactor’s PC’s are all over the place.

Could I use this technique to set the tap delay on my Strymon Timelapse to the tap value I set on the HX Stomp? And if so, how? IOW, I want to set the tap tempo for a song on the HX Stomp, have it send it via MIDI to the Timelapse, and get the same tap tempo on the Timelapse which is wired through the effects loop (rather than having to set the tap tempo twice on the two pedals individually).
