Thank you for actually showing how to get the D5 into the pot. Other videos here just tell you that you should spray the pots, but don't show how, which is what I was struggling with. You go the extra mile and show inside the pot to explain what's going on.

I have a tip that not many guitarists know or even realize but you can also use Deoxit to clean your strings after playing. Works better then all the other shit on the market and hardly anyone does this since its marketed for electronics.

On a side note, you don't have to take the strings of a fender to access the electronics, put some slack on the strings, put a capo at the 1st fret and unscrew the neck, faster than restringing.

Another great video Phil. Since it's carbon it gets oxidation. WD40 just came out with electronic cleaner. Don't cheap out with no name cleaners. Also don't leave pots in one position for long periods of time. Alway turn to prevent dead spots. Also if you pull them apart like Phil did an eraser helps not so caked on oxidation since some pencils are carbon too. Peace
