I have vivid memories of the one weekend my friend group had caffeinated Four Loko. It tasted awful, so we ended up mixing it all together in a broader punch mixture with some other juices and lemonades we had lying around. We were sitting at the kitchen table at 8:30a, still drinking, equal parts wired and exhausted. I don't recommend it, but it's a memory I do cherish.

13:08 I live in Canada, we did not get the early versions of Four Loco. I was at Burning man and someone gifted several cans of this stuff to me. I had never tried it before and thought it was just a tall beer. I drink and can hold my liquor but this stuff hits you like a freight train, I sucked back one pretty quick then cracked the second one. I don't think I was 1/2 way through it and I ended waking up in the morning in my sleeping bag wondering how I got there, as I don't remember finishing the drink and I don't remember going to bed. Apparently I was stumbling around camp mumbling things my camp mates could not understand. My girlfriend helped me to bed. Once I woke up in the daylight I read the can and realized it had way more alcohol in it than I was expecting.

When I was new to drinking my older friend said "let's get some 4 Loko's". We had 10 dollars we bought 4 of the Apple one's. And got 3 dollars back as our change😅 We sat on his porch in the Georgia summer and I asked "Is this even gonna get us drunk"?
He replied "oh don't worry it's gonna get you drunk". I'm 3/4th's the way through the first one and I'm honestly extremely drunk for no reason with a hint of energy. And I had to drive a company car afterwards 2 hours later. Then I start my second one and all the sudden I am puking my guts outs in his front lawn bushes for all the neighbor's to see early afternoon🤣 The next day I woke up and asked him wtf did I drink and his simple reply..."4 Loko's". Lol never again.

I was in college in Bellingham Washington when Four Loko was OG recipe. Man I'm surprised I'm alive. I was 19 in 2009. I've had my share. Never in my life have I ever wanted to taste four loko again after 2009-2010😂
Me and my buddies would drink a can pretty fast and try to play SKATE. Falling everywhere having fun. Literally we were all just coked up alcoholics thanks to four loko. I've powered through drinking two cans multiple times. I'm currently 5 years sober at 34 years old😂🎉

It was circa 2009 when my friends and I were 18 and went to a house party in a really sketchy side of town with each of us having two going on three Four Looks a piece. One of my friends got into an argument with another one of my friends and he ran away in a four Loko induced stupor. We spent 2 hours looking for him (and throwing up along the way) in what was called the murder capitol of San Antonio but we could not find him. Lol the old four loko formula with caffeine was the go to in high school. All you needed was two and you’d have a good time. I remember my buddy Jack who was our right tackle on the football team and was 6’5 300lbs with a full beard and looked liked he was 30 years old would never get carded at this liquor store so every weekend we’d pull our money together and give it all to Jack to load up on as many four lokos as possible lol.

I had no idea it used to be an energy drink. I quit mixing uppers & downers after a speedball killed Chris Farley. Only one store in my town sells Loko but it is the 14%. 2 cans for $5. I call it the "switch off" because it's the only thing that lets me fall asleep aside from a hard blow to the head. Strictly medicinal, of course.
