You need to slightly crush the garlic cloves to slightly to let the enzymes do there work in the fermentation process. Not put them in the jar whole. My 1st jar only took about 4 weeks to fully ferment after burping the jar every other day. It can take 4-6 weeks to fully ferment. Once it doesn't need to be burped anymore, it's done fermenting!! Fights flu and colds!! It's a great natural remedy!!

I read a recipe from a different site and it didn't say anything about crushing the garlic. I did not crush my mine I hope it works

You are supposed to use raw honey but how do you keep raw honey from getting thick. Even in my warm kitchen the honey is very thick I had to put it in my microwave so I could pour it over the garlic. As it sits it thickens. I don't want to keep putting it in the microwave so that I can mix it up how do you keep it so it's running like that in the picture
