Learn Morse Code - Lesson 4

Today we learn 4 new letters - O, S, C and H.
These videos should be watched in sequential order as they are additive and build on each other.
BEFORE you watch this video, WATCH THE PRIOR VIDEO as a refresher to the previous set of NEW characters.

Continue on with this video for about a week to get the characters memorized and perfect. INSTANT CHARACTER RECOGNITION IS THE KEY!

As mentioned in other videos, if you want to really learn Morse Code, check out CW Ops or Long Island CW Club....
... but if you dont want to commit and want to take a casual - no commitment approach to learning - this might be a good way to go.

TJ, since you have the experience in morse code, do you have any suggestions on picking out a vanity call sign? I have my extra license and I thought it would be nice to get a vanity call sign. I have found that if I sit at my radio and follow along (keying the same letters directly after you key them) it trains me to send as well as copy!!!

Did you change the "tone/hertz/frequency/pitch" (which ever, ha) from 720, on this Lesson from the first three lessons? Or, is it just the difference in the brand of the paddles?
