New total war games have been leaked. How many are true or are they just rumours. Im not so sure. Star Wars Total War? Really?

Idc what they do just make the ai better so playing campaigns feel more interesting. No matter what total war game you play it seems like the ai can’t even form a single line

the only way i see this working is if they make it during the old republic era. lots a characters, factions and area to explore. who knows. could be cool.

Empire 2 total war. And with all the new stuff that has been done since. Better unit pathfinding, the ability to build a dynasty should you revolt or not and go monarchy. The ability to crown yourself emperor if you meet conditions like France or Brasil. Include more map, yes more of the unknown world and the East indies. Have trade work differently from the ETW system. Not 3 per port and research overhaul. More provinces on the map akin to Warhammer. Where multiple regions function together with bonusses. There is so much that can be done to make a great empire 2 total war.

I am waiting nothing but whether Total war Medieval III or Empire total war II. Otherwise, I am not intersted in any total war at all. Oh, maybe Rome total war III.

On one hand no smoke without fire. This much rumours going around makes it likely.

On the other hand Star Wars would be so expensive to get the licence for. With all the troubles at CA these past few years where are they getting the money to licence that? If it's true they must have gotten a great discount deal.

The price Disney would charge would blow the cost of the WH licence away. You would think.

I think if CA are really working on a Star Wars game…it’s not gonna be Total War.

Remember when CA made Halo Wars 2??

I think if a Star Wars game is in the works, it’s gonna be more like a Halo Wars, command and conquer style RTS. This is the most logical assumption given that total war just wouldn’t work with Star Wars.

Total war world war one is a definite must happen, could you imagine massive trench warfare style battles, lots of factions and unique unit types including speciality troops, it would be like hearts of iron 4 mixed with napoleon total war

The only good timeline for total war type game in star wars would either be Old Republic Era, Yuhzhaan Vong era or legacy era. Because all these eras are parts of the Old Canon disney would never allow it.
It either be Empire Total War 2 or Warhammer 40k (but i think that one will be too large).

Id say a 40k total war would be more likely then a Star Wars games, but interesting if it were to be true.
