I started TRT and it changed my life for the better. I have more energy and can keep up with my kids. My overall mood and emotional regulation is improved. The physical changes are minimal but the mental changes are profound. As a vet with TBI, TRT has been a blessing.

Father time spares no one, calculate your risks like you did anywhere else in life. Be informed prior to making a decision.

I think TRT is a cope out. As Derek said, you will see two dudes at the same level of free test, one physiological and the other not, and the dude on TRT will always be better.
Having a non fluctuating level of test is a crazy advantage. Especially nowadays, where most people are stressed and sleep deprived

Just started trt (Marek) this week . 46 - tt - just under 500 ft- 52. I live a lifestyle that promotes natural production and took my test falling as a challenge. Over the last 3 yrs many symptoms kicked in that I did not know were connected to low t. Depressed ( constant state of melancholy ) mood swings, no focus or motivation . All opposite of who I am . I became unrecognizable. I told my health coach and Dr I’m not interested in trt for gainz but to get out of this dangerous mental spot ( that has not been a problem before ) that I can’t seem to fix. To me any risks that may arise are worth it at this point . And if they’re not I’ll go off. But I’m pretty excited about this new journey.

Trt literally altered my whole life and trajectory, im so grateful honestly. I can’t write all of the issues i used to have physically but also mentally.

I had severe ptsd from an agonizing wife and all of this cortisol released into my body from depression ate away my natural Testosterone. Not to mention cortisol converts into estrogen and that compounds issues.

My levels were at low 200’s at 39 yrs old. I used to be a freak athlete all through out high school and college and was really athletic into my early 30’s.

Trt is like a cheat code in life. I was earning ok income but when I got on T, it made me so much more ambitious and resilient, took away all fear, doubts and anxiety.

The mental benefits alone is staggering.

I have always felt a big issue with anabolic is that it removes the governor. It's just so easy for an athlete to redline repeatedly without immediate consequence. And just like with a car, if you redline repeatedly the wear and tear will eventually cause a break.

He just spoke the minds of thousands of men when he said "when I noticed I was losing my hair that's when I pulled back. I knew at that time it was affecting me". Alot of men lose their hair due to steroid use or large amounts and it can cause negative mental side effects because who the hell like to be bald or mostly bald? Very few.. Derek speaks what the average dude like himself does out loud with his influencer position he has created.

TRT is safe, but "TRT" isn't

I’m 26 started TRT at 25 and It completely changed my life. Being a first responder stress and lack of sleep were huge. My first doctor put me on antidepressants for a couple years and that just sucked. Weight gain, no motivation, etc etc. switched departments got my blood work done and turns out my testosterone levels were under 200. I got on TRT and It changed everything. Fully understanding the risk, and my primary care doc being super transparent, monitoring me with blood work every 3 months etc. It saved my life. I don’t abuse It, adjusted doses and I’m the healthiest and happiest I’ve ever been.

Crazy to hear about that there's been no testing at the typical trt maintenance dose.

44 year old male. I was fat, depressed, low energy etc. I was working out with no progress for months. I found a doctor who specializes in this area. I got a comprehensive blood test that identified a few issues, but my testosterone was 138. I started a protocol that has included TRT for the past 5-6 months and everything has changed for the better. I have shed nearly 30 pounds of body fat, gained muscle and my mood, energy level etc are amazing. All this occured with only 50 mcg of TRT split into two 25 mcg injections twice a week. After experiencing some acne and my levels exploding to 1, 200 after three months of treatment I have dialed back the dose to 40 mcg split twice a week. My acne has subsided and I still feel amazing. Whatever the long term side effects may be for such a low dose over the next 40ish years of my life is worth it to BE HERE AND BE PRESENT for my family today when they need me the most.

“Where are the bodies?” Was a quote from John Romano on bigger, stronger, faster when challenged regarding the dangers of steroids….

I love all these guys saying trt is a cop out… just get some sleep, eat better.
You clearly have never had a 200 or lower test level. After a herniated disk, my level dropped to the low 200s, i wanted to die. I had to suffer like that for a cpl years because of incompetence drs.
Now i take a small shot 3 times a week, my level stays around 600-700, and i feel good. Ive been on it for years, its safe if you dont abuse it and stay active and healthy.

This guy always seems to somehow say a lot without saying anything direct or specific right away.

For someone who actually needs it though, what's more dangerous; a lifetime of low testosterone or a lifetime of TRT? I would imagine having naturally low testosterone (under 300 ng/dl) is probably going to cause more serious life shortening health issues than if you were to be on TRT at 900 ng/dl for life. The biggest thing probably being BMI.. the average BMI for someone with testosterone under 300 ng/dl is probably 30-40%. If nothing else, I think the risks of TRT are offset by the risks of a high BMI and other serious things that correlate with very low testosterone.
